My Dad the definition of Real bruh just minds his own business and if I need help with something he don’t be on that weird s*** he just teaches me
I was having a conversation today with my barber about the difference in dating while he was growing up vs this generation. One of the things you gotta realize is the entire culture of the country was way different back then. Socially constructed ideals were more linear than they are now.
Imagine twenty years from now you can legally marry your cousin and it actually becomes common. Of course our generation in the future is gonna say “we didn’t have this s*** growing, this shouldn’t be allowed to be a thing.” People are just products of their environments and some people can’t get over their old ideals of thinking. Now that’s a very outlandish example but you can substitute that for gay marriage or transgender people for the current old generation and it still applies
F*** yard work fr.
Cutting the grass is alright as long as the lawn mower isn't stalling out every 3 feet.
Everything else tho
Can’t stand doing s*** outside either.
Picking weeds, trimming bushes, weedwacking, planting s***...is all very tedious
But when you’re done and you sit back and look at it after a heads day work and what you did and how gorgeous the lawn is
why are we often called feminine and ¨gay¨ and ¨feminine¨ by older generations of black men ? Most of us were raised by women (mom, aunts, grandmas) so even if we were a bit feminine that would explain a lot of it. Also in turn what is wrong with being feminine to them?
Long story short is because it’s different. They didn’t grow up or spend their prime years in a “soft”, “gay”, and “feminine” era.

stop making threads about black people.
We should make it a rule that threads about "black people" should be taken down if OP fails to prove that they're black...
^ Now let's figure out if I'm being sarcastic
