The problem with taxing rich people too much, when they're already paying a lot, is you risk driving them away to other countries

No but it could discourage it in the future. Other companies and people as well, obviously it's a bit late with something like amazon. I won't disagree with a way to tax some of the super wealthy more. You got me to do some research and I'll do some more, trying to stick to unbiased sources though.
I just find far too often I hear claims about huge taxes and other complaints about those who have money to the point where it's gotten a bit extreme

I just dont see why they should be allowed to leech when they are obviously profiting on society themselves. Obviously they are going to complain that its excessive bc its human nature to not want to give up your wealth.

Then again the high taxation rate would only apply to their income after it reaches a certain point meaning that those paying the highest rate of taxes could certainly afford it.

Bezos didn't work for his money, that's not what capitalists do, he exploited the labor of his employees.

What I don't get is what makes it leeching when they already pay so much. They pay their share. You ask basically force charity. They don't gain anything from paying more taxes, what will they gain for the services that their taxes will go toward? The assumption is they don't deserve the wealth that they have and although I see the argument for that sometimes, other times I find they have earned it
