TLOP is a stroke of genius. The duality concept is well put together and I don’t get why people say it’s sloppy or some bullshit. It’s a kaleidoscope of sounds ranging from gospel, trap, pop, soul, psychedelic. It’s him trying to come to terms with being a domesticated man and the roadblocks that come with it. He also gave us the opportunity to basically see the whole creative process as it unfolded. A timeless relic of an era.

So what’s your issue with it then? Lack of lyricism? Grow up.

Besides money problems (which I'm not discounting as something wildly important) what new concepts did Ye bring to the table here? TLOP is not an album about money problems yet that is the only distinguishable topic discussed on this album in comparison to his others.

    late reg is classic.
tlop is a classic era, not a classic album. if you think different you probably a new school hip hop fan (no disrespect) but sonically you not lining up with it

It's his first album as a father and a married man and he definitely touches on those topics, especially during the second half of the album.

some people were born earlier than 2006 and value lyrical content in kanye albums. You asked why people say he fell off and I gave you the reason lil bro now stfu

  • May 20, 2020

cuz technically, using the rules of falling, it's true.
