Tammuz is who the Christian Church calls Jesus. The Jesus of the bible is incredibly different than the Christian Church Jesus. Tammuz the son of the Babylonian King Nimrod, both were born on Dec 25th. After Nimrod died, Ishtar had a son named Tammuz and he was born on Dec. 25th.
Upon Tammuz' death he was weeped for by women for 40 days (Ezekiel 8:13-15) this is what we call Lent. The 6 weeks that lead up to Easter.
He's also the reason for Ash Wednesday and the month June is about him as well. (Babylonian/Jewish calendar names Tammuz as their month we call June)
The holiday Easter originates from Tammuz' mom/wife Ishtar. Every image you see of so called "Jesus and The Virgin Mary" isn't about the Messiah of the Bible, it's about Tammuz.
Starting from ancient Babylon then Egypt and eventually the world, we can trace almost every so called religion back to Ancient Babylon. Jesus of the Bible is real but he's not the one we hear on Sunday.
