unfortunately, astrology is pretty b******ized and has been memed to the point where it’s cast aside as a New Age plaything + relegated to something with no validity

however, if you are partial to the idea that the world is somehow someway connected to one another and influences eachother (there’s various names for this, anima mundi, butterfly effect-ish, karma etc.) the idea that the heavens bestow certain character dispositions isn’t really that radical of a thought to an extent (and this isn’t me endorsing astrology, i just think it’s pretty unfairly characterized nowadays)

it just seems like people see it black and white and think that if you think astrology has a grain of truth or two within it, that rules out the whole nature v nurture thing, rather than it possibly being a moorish mix of some sort
