I just saw this documentary from VICE and the comments are just niggas saying s*** like "This is worse then kidnappings!!" or "This is like someone stealing your kid or baby brother" no nigga tf it is not

I hate this mentality so much because it eventually leads to situations like this which happened earlier this year

Idk but those people are weird as s***. I remember some time ago there was this video of a dude being attacked by a stray in Baltimore and certain folk were heated because the man fought back. Talking about the dog was just playing because it was wagging it’s tail. Like a mf would stop to notice a random dog running up on them was wagging it’s tail and playing.

I heard a lot of people who do this probably got abused as a kid and feel like they need to look out for the helpless while also having a grudge on humans

i’ve noticed this. even some really racist people would put the life of dogs before there fellow human beings. i think it’s because they see the animals as pure, innocent beings whilst other human beings of certain races as innately bad

Yeah s*** is weird, I mean I love animals and want to help them too but devoting resources that could help people towards like stray dogs is weird

I asked a dude I worked with why he valued animals (his dog in particular) over humans and he’s said some s*** about how s***ty humans are and how his dog loves him whether he’s ugly, fat, broke or rich and beautiful. He said he’d save his dog first in a house fire then go back for “other members of the family”

And yeah he was.
