@krishna_bound Take a read on this, it's a few years old but it nails the differences in modern day issues with being a student. I was in MS in 2008, and it sounds about right. There were much less worries as being a kid then, than now.

this is a school rule. if u don't want it taken, don't have it out especially if u have been warned multiple times. he was doing his job. at the highschool i went to, if u got caught with it multiple times it was taken for the rest of the year and your parent had to come get it.
