And without either one having human influence over what they understand, makes you wonder you put them in a room together does a German cat get along better with a cat raised in that same stratosphere or is there no difference because as someone stated barks and meows likely only give context through tone.
As if I come from one place and you come from another how can we have the same understanding of a noise? Like how mmm mmm can mean no off noise alone, but not every will recognize the noise to mean that.

my cat is brought from Spain and it seems it doesn't have this problem, it's about the SOUND they make (and tone), I can note when my cat is angry or happy by her meows
