I had heard stories from girls but brushed them off. I thought they were seeing stuff that wasn't there or making it sound worse than it really was. But in 2019, two college girls were brutally raped and murdered in my city. One of them was at my college and it started a whole dialogue. Women were coming forward with stories on social media. Dudes I went to high school with were being exposed. That's when I realized how widespread and bad things actually are. And since then, I can't unnotice it.

Everyday, I see a woman being catcalled and annoyed by some random guy when they're just walking down the street. I notice how men are selfish pieces of s***, even to the women they are involved with and claim to love. We just need to do better, we honestly don't deserve women
