Was reading this thread and it was pretty crazy for me to see. It's like you call everything corny, but why? It's like you guys want people to do nothing. You think small talk is corny. You think talking to coworkers is corny. You think poetry is corny. You think proposing at Disney world is corny. But then some of you have the gall to act like you're intresting when your personality revolve around around politics or hot takes. That's corny.

But fr I knew a guy who would call basic politeness corny. I would be like 'hey man how was your day?' and dude would just act cool and not return the gesture. I asked him why he acted that way and he literally said it's corny to act nice to acquaintances
