That Quiet Storm GOAT s***

Need to listen now
Yeah but I don't wanna share it, still honing in a sound.
I want an artist to sing my s***, I'm not gonna be another lame autotune trap nigga tryna sing

I hate it, I like raw vocals, but with nice vocal tone, personality and tonal quality, to me Usher has the best voice for R&B, it sounds masculine, confident but has a specific swagger to it.
Probably my favorite R&B song of all time

I love the build up to the chorus and then when it finally hits that s*** f***ing HITS. My god the melody on that chorus
It sucks that you probably won't hear a song like this today but I understand why.

all his s*** with pharrell is honestly my favorite rap s*** from the 00's
I don't think a single person can deny how music videos look like s*** now, those 00s videos are insane. Massive budgets and great directors
In my opinion the same thing happened to the music, no money anymore for producers / directors, and the quality has gone

this basically Aaliyahs lane recontextualized with trap and atmospheric production
Trap not played out u can enhance it fr

it's not Alliyah recontexualised it's literally just 100% Aaliyah
Just proves how all the innovation was happening in the past, where the f*** is the next stage, it's not going to be trap s*** I bet my life on it.
Decade old song, sounds better than all this s*** today
Quality S/O to Los da Mystro for those crazy synths and crystal waterdrop drums
