He has the most votes in the overrated producers thread and I can’t seem to understand why.

Someone said he’s only really produced for Drake so I guess that’s one reason. Still don’t think that’s enough to qualify him as the most overrated

I wouldn't say he's the most overrated but I've never been a big fan of the way he flips samples

But one of the main components of a great producer is developing and maintaining the sound of a great artist (drake)

His production does nothing for me and is often extremely boring.

Drake stans overrated him because he produced most of Drake’s songs from 2009-2014. He’s not even the best producer on Drake’s in-house production team anymore. I’d pick Boi-1da over him

I’d say he’s the greatest producer to work exclusively with one artist though

overrated doesn't mean "bad", he def has some classics to his name but a lot of his newer production, like drake's newer s*** since views, became super mid. Still has some classics ofc but he's not a "godly" producer that a lot of drake fans hype him up to be.
