If it’s an era where MBDTF is a masterpiece or a Carti album is I know which one I’m leaning all I’m saying. Album contextually in the moment was a behemoth and stood the test of time. It’s all subjective at the end of the day but very rarely do we see that level of effort, detail and cohesion especially not today

Also I understand the DJ Khaled comparison but I think that’s a bit of a loose one imo. DJ Khaled would just tack verses together or just rip complete songs with (what I’m assuming to be) little to no input or guidance whereas yes MBDTF was a huge collaborative effort but it was done with thought and intentionality that helped layer something that produced amazing results
