and the fact that its still in their minds just adds to the fact that its a classic
they just mad they cant relate. theres no other way, theres only one flaw in the album imo and its that line "i freed you from mental slavery youre very welcome" but we can let that slide since literally everything else is perfect

1. awards don't mean anything in the music industry.
2. Music is subjective
3. i thought it was a corny radio song. I prefer other cuts on kendrick's albums.
i'm not trying to be a nonconformist but i just liked kendrick before he went mainstream. had overly dedicated and section.80 off of datpiff. Those are my memories...

my point was that the song has the worldwide recognition necessary to be a classic. its an anthem for a generation of underprivileged people and just happens to be universally acclaimed and well known as well. you disliking it doesnt make it not a classic. if music is really subjective then whyd you even question me calling it a classic, its an opinion according to you right? if i fart into a mic it wont sound as good as radiohead lol there is some objectivity to music tpab is clearly BETTER than a large majority of music that is a fact
Because it’s one of the best albums of 2010’s. It has raw artistic expression and some of the best production in years.
Because whitoids felt guilty about their pig cops over at Ferguson and think a good review for a rap album can act as reparations for 400 years of oppression
precisely
kendrick isn’t a kanye protege wyd
i mean he woulda taken some influence just as every popular and underground rapper has ever since kanye's comeup

That sound will never age. What are u talking about. Ur just repeating buzz words
the only thing arguable about the album is kendrick's delivery, but asides from that its a masterpiece.
you can show this album to any musician that doesnt listen to hip hop and they'll s*** their pants with the production.

so that’s more the team y’all act like Kendrick produced the whole album lol
I feel the critical acclaim was a bit inflated by fans and critics fearing he would never top GKMC and would go pop after gaining mainstream success
It was during a time sophomore slump was going strong in the game
