what in the f*** is he trying to say

it was a series of tweets of him thanking n shouting out a ton of rappers.

truthfully, it'd be nice to have jay actually talk about big l and what he meant to him instead of name dropping him in a tweet

Same for Pac and Big tbh, they’d be like KRS-One status

They definitely wouldn't be not KRS status atleast, KRS got aged out the game by top talent that came out of nowhere.

    Why is it weird

    He always stanned BIG

The Biggie homage has always been a Hov thing but I do think it's weird he will use Em bars as homage and even did the same for 2Pac and we all know Pac ain't fw them at all.

Under those circumstances I think it's weird he never bigged up L.

Nah G, they would be 2 and 3 years younger than Jay Z who is still relevant now, and Biggies style was very modern at the time, Pac might be a little more dated but he’d still be a well known and respected legend

Tbh I think the issue with KRS isnt really being aged out but he got on his high horse with the "Hip Hop Bible" s*** to where he got a little pretentious for people's liking.

I remember Biggie saying that's when KRS got corny to him and not relatable.

LL is from the same era and was still successful into the 2000s despite the new wave being better pure rappers than him.

Pac would have a stronger social media presence than BIG for sure lol

Pac for sure wouldn’t be celebrated as much as he is

Out of pac and big, death helped big’s legacy more than pac’s. Big had 2 albums and the biggest songs would be seen as pop garbage if he didn’t die

One of hov’s realest moments, brings a tear to my eye thinking about it for real. That’s what any great hip hop artist should do, pay homage to those who paved the way and continue to push it along
