As much as we nag on Drake's singing that new snippet was refreshing because the production alone hence why production > songwriting.
Yes the twoo intertwine and that is a discussion for another day but you refute ponder on this. The best musicians ever produced their s***
Now on to my original argument.
I don't understand why artists continue to use the same production/genre cause it starts to get tired. We been saying Drake needs to go 80% RAP/ 20% SINGING since NWTS (correct me if I'm wrong) n he obviously doesnt gaf. The Rap Radar interview he confirmed he's gonna continue to kuck for the radio play/Billboard and keep the 16+ song albums going too. Eventually everyone will fall in line and start to only be excited for Drake singles/loosies and not albums like myself. esp after failing expectation with Views.
I kinda like seeing Travis getting back into his own producing, I honestly felt like that was the best career move, I understand having a team around you but he gotta take control of the sound cause ASTROWORLD will probably be the last likable album by him. HIGHEST IN THE ROOM confirmed he'll will stick to his schtick vocally/lyrically so what else can LaFlame show us that he hasnt? I think Don about to take his spot frfr.
Not sure it's a lack of insight between management or just trying to flood the market with s*** thats trendy.
Summer Games and Ratchet Happy Birthday were kind of left-field for Drake's production and y'all absolutely hated those

Ratchet HBD is his best song.

experimenting doesn’t necessarily mean it’s good BUT that isn’t an excuse to stagnate in any way shape or form
