Anyway, back to the Kyle Rittenhouse thread.

Very keen observation about the media coverage of these events being so politicizing. Just putting it in front of people. The cases that aren't in accordance with that agenda do not get covered either.

i understand that but if someone was to take his life then they would go away for life. Thats just another meaningless loss

The Rittenhouse case is definitely another example of this where it's going to almost certainly be another example of a springboard for similar radicalization regardless of the case itself and solely because of the context of the trial and the way it's been introduced into discourse. The entire summer of 2020 was a s***show enough as is in that regard but the media's handling of this is going to blow that up even more.
It's also insane that the coverage and meaningless discourse about this case have completely clouded the Ahmaud Arbery case, of which deserves significantly more anger. If there's a case that should piss people off because of the details of, it's that one - and that's all being done in public and being reported on. If a publicized trial like that has this many absurd details in public it should terrify people what can happen in non-publicized circumstances but everyone is so obsessed about Rittenhouse and the media's handling of it that no one even knows that case is still going on.
