For what's its worth, I remember reading a lot of takes that Beyonce's aim toward high culture, high art, Louvre, etc. post 2013 and especially circa 2018 was reminiscent of the Runaway aesthetic and basically followed in the footsteps of Ye. But of course his influence is wide.

The album "Everything Is Love" right after Ye proposed the album title "Love Everybody" is a clear example

Understandably post 2022. No one wants to defend a Nazi sympathizer / Hitler fan I get that. But pre 2022, crickets from her. Despite him influencing a large portion of her career from 2013 onward

The Kanye we have been allowed to see and the Kanye she personally knows could be very different

All this dumb s*** he's been on didn't just come out of nowhere

Maybe she knew/saw s*** we didn't from way back and knew it would be PR suicide for her flawless image

She had a whole renaissance movie about the tour and album that I watched but no mention of Kanye, she said she was inspired by house music during it. Fair enough, she clearly was, but now one of the producers on the album saying she explicitly asked for Kanye beats

It just leads to my further criticism of Jay Z and Beyoncé the past decade. I just feel like they are fake. Snakes. Type to screw over someone or ignore something to stay on top.

this much should be obvious lol I dunno why ppl vouch so hard for Jay also. both of them have fake af personas designed to relate to their respective audiences and make money. that's how they became billionaires
