  • Invasion of Privacy was flames, and she’s very relevant. Yet she doesn’t seem to be making any moves in regards to releasing another album.

I truly think she and Rihanna don’t think they can surpass their last albums, so they refuse to drop anything else

It doesn’t help that the single’s she’s dropped haven’t been that successful. Bongos came and went. Hot S*** was hot mid. If there was a time for her to drop a follow up, it would’ve been after WAP in 2020

There's no money in music, the music is a vehicle to put you in the place to make money elsewhere. She doesnt need music anymore

Why do you want her to?

Read the first 5 words of OP. The answer is right there in front of you.

    Y’all’s reading comprehension sometimes

  • Scared to flop, she is only mentioned next to Nicki in terms of music because of what her debut album did. If she drops now the gap between them two will be very big and mess up her brand and value.

Having said that, her verse on Glorilla tomorrow 2 was fire. Top 3 female feature of the last couple years.

  • She obviously doesn't want to underperform.

  • yeah it's basically cos her / her label don't want to flop. it's very traditional conservative rollout tactics in the sense that if a single doesn't do serious numbers it basically gets shelved again. seems kinda crazy but they are obviously concerned she doesn't have a big organic fanbase for a short build up or isnt likely to build up the required buzz for a longer one. Also iop big overperformed when you think about it. Anything less gonna be seen as a flop.

genuinely think iop is decent and I have liked some of her singles. Idk man. How many people really dying for a new cardi album tho.

  • Scared

  • She’ll never be able to live up to what her debut was . People have moved on and she doesn’t have a fanbase the way Nicki does
