Smacked VoodooTwo different genres of music, more Spanish speakers in the US, likely much more Latinos in the US than Africans, and yes of course most Americans are gonna choose the white passing Latino singer than the darkskin African singer.
That being said both are great artists who make great music. And I prefer to chill at spots who play both their music. I need some culture when I'm at the club.

Latino population in America is far bigger than African(recent) population.
Either way them afrobeat niggas are doing quite well getting radio play on certain areas like NYC here, but Bad Bunny and the likes are an entirely different league altogether.

Are you African, I think you’re biased.
Fact is Bad Bunny and Latin Music as a whole is on a level Wiz has not reached but he’s still a global artist regardless to give him that credit. Maybe them newer African dudes will one day reach Bad Bunny level but I don’t see it right now

Plus Hispanic population in America is huge. It was only a matter of time before a primarily Spanish speaking artist became as big as he did. Reggaeton was already a pretty big genre in clubs
