MrKiDBro if music has a way of shaping people's personalities, then it does have a way of shaping society as a whole.

sipsomeYeah I completely disagree with the idea of it being “empowering” too, and honestly can’t stand people saying that. It’s essentially an organization determining the most profitable part of you as an artist is your body and so that’s what they’re going to need to push in the imagery surrounding your music.
As much hate as Billie gets on here and as much as she’s said some very dumb s*** recently, we need more female artists that are allowed to have creative control and don’t have to rely on appearing to be a 10/10 in bed to sell a record.

Obviously the music industry uses s***to make money because there is a demand for sexualized content featuring women.
And who is driving that demand? Men.
Be the change you want to see in the world and speak with your wallet. Support female artists who are marketed in a manner that you find acceptable. There are plenty of them out there.
