I agree that it's overrated but its still pretty damn good.

I couldn't really pick out a bad track, really creative with interesting track compositions, vocal inflections and great lineup of features which all play a big part in the overall product but even then, Kanye still shines throughout.

808s is a mixed bad for some it seems, If you don't like it then that's fair but I love anything pop and it's an interesting take on the genre. Say You Will, Love Lockdown, Heartless, Street lights are all great songs with good songwriting and great production.

You’re one of the few people on this site that can give a valid reason why you think that MBDTF is a good album. Most just act like parrots and echo the same bullshit, “it’s a classic, 10/10, best rap album ever, etc” without giving a reason. I like good pop music as well, but I can’t say that 808s is a good pop album, same for MBDTF being a good album (at least not a good rap album). I’ll go into detail about why I think it’s trash in a little bit.

I try and give reasons always.

No need to explain yourself, I know some people don't like those albums and your entitled to your own opinion.

    All good.

How the f*** does him performing Gospel songs in jails and buying movie tickets help out anyone? You’re a prime example of overly obsessed stans that worship these weirdos. If Kanye really wants to help out the community, he’d use some of the billions that he’s bragged about and invest in communities, help black business, etc. I don’t f*** with Nipsey’s music but he’s a far better example of someone that tried to make a difference. Several artist/ actors have bought movie tickets, for people to see films, that means nothing to me. And for the releasing of several inmates, I’ll give credit where credit is due for that (although I do believe there’s an alternative motive behind that as well).

Nosey didn't invest s*** into anyone business

No need. Imagine thinking anyone gives a s*** about what you have to say about MBDTF. Peasant

Honestly I don’t hate it, I just think it hurt his brand. During Gandhi era/ rollout he was on his way to becoming the black Elon Musk and he threw it all away. Pretty sure it’s prep for the presidential run but still, I don’t like this version of ye that actively censors himself because he doesn’t want to offend anyone. And on top of that he’s not confident in his (musical) taste anymore.

Black Elon Music with the sci-fi trap was the better timeline

People like to stan generic flavor of the month artists but act like JIK is trash. The ONLY thing wrong with JIK is its length. The only criticisms people have are its substance, which is irrelevant, and the lyrics, which weren't bad at all. The only verse I though was weak was Water. The lyrics on Selah, Follow God, Closed on Sunday, On God and Hands on are all great.

Best timeline would’ve been we being a complete hermit after he ran out on the Pablo Tour and rarely being seen in public, all the while releasing music
