People come to California thinking it will change their life until they realize this s*** ain’t for everybody
These flyover state cucks needa stay away, they aint built for this s***
Hes still a b****
Also Newsome recently passed a law that waived old ass court fees for people. My sister had over 2k in court fees from like a decade ago wiped out.
i see the homeless pop in la overthrowing their mayor in a couple years. quote me
This would be goat
I feel like people are expecting to L.A to be like San Diego or San Clemente, which it’s not. It’s a congested Hollywood town, full of people trying “to make it”. Not a relaxed beachside community
L.A isn’t the real SoCal. California gets s***ted on far too much by Rogan and other right wing loonies due to the reputation L.A has
Orange County is f***ing beautiful. A little boring and suburban, but beautiful. Amazing food, amazing beaches, people are really down to earth in my experience
Same with San Diego, San Clemente, etc
Even up north, S.F is a s***hole. The cities surrounding it, though? Absolutely incredible. Sonoma county, Marin County, etc are phenomenal places to live
OC is dope. Towns along the coast are really dope too. Dana, Laguna, etc. They have become immeasurably expensive to live at though
The smartest thing you could do if you were rich is to leave LA
Just me tho I love the seclusion
Can't wait for ca to become a flyover in 10 years
“ Flyover country and flyover states are American phrases describing the parts of the United States between the East and the West Coasts”

Nigga gonna fly over and land in the Pacific Ocean
It’s deadass full of envious people who just want to one up everyone around them combined with constant grind culture that is not good for your mental health
LA seems like a great place to stay for a bit idk if I could live there though
Definitely a visit city
I wouldn't want to live here into my 40s. It's absolutely insane. But I think the constant grind can be good for young people who can take it. I have mixed feelings, but I grew up a lot living here for just 7 years. Definitely doesn't coddle you unless you're in the top ~1%.

LA and NYC both trash if you living a modest life. If you're rich sure it's nice.
Moved to DC from Inglewood a few months ago. Kinda miss Cali but I'm
only remembering what life was like before Gentrification
Ironically DC is undergoing massive gentrification

Seems like every major and semi major city is being gentrified. The hood is now in the burbs.
There was a UC study that came out like last week that said the whole people leaving in large amounts thing is complete bs
Even with that study out you still have people in denial, mainly conservative weirdos who are trying to use this "exodus" to prove liberal run cities are terrible.
probably because LA culture is super inauthentic and superficial.
NYC >>>>
what do you even know about LA culture
Hope they keep leaving. The last thing LA needs is more people.
For real
But Covid was a tough year for everyone and LA is a tough city. If you're not semi established in some field it can be unbelievably exhausting and scary.
As far as rich celebs, it just makes sense to want to move somewhere else eventually and the taxes here are outrageous. On top of that the homeless problem and general way this city is ran is kind of f***ed.
But overall LA is amazing and everyone knows that.

Yea it's not as bad as LA is tho. Atleast not in the area I moved to
