YANDHIyou really don't know whats behind some scenarios tho. yours might have been fine but there's people who eat a lott when they have mental issues for example. add constant shaming to that and i promise it won't end well

imdoinfIt’s mostly important for kids to know it’s bad to fat shame cus they can’t be discriminating against fat ppl/strangers when they grow up lmao that’s not cool. Friends and family is a different story but depends on how the person takes it kinda f***ed up to shame someone if it’s gonna mess with their mental health.

There's no conversation to have about this. There are multiple scientific studies that point to fat shaming having largely negative effects 95% of the time
You can ENCOURAGE people to lose weight without shaming them. Period.
If shaming worked as a motivator for you then that's good for you. That doesn't mean you have to do it to other people
