I don’t get how a lot of you don’t see the way you’re talking typed out in front of you and realize that you can’t be thinking like that. Not everyone who has a problem with something in society is just a softie. Like think about history. Think about how reducing someone making a stance on real problems to a “snowflake” is like siding with the Empire. It’s contributing to bad things.
Maybe we can’t agree on the term “female”, but something as base as that and the resistance to understanding other people snowballs into things a lot more serious than words for a lot of people. Them having problems with things isn’t just a nitpick. Maybe someone has experienced something horrible to them and it’s linked to the same kind of keywords like that being thrown around in general. We all have to do better in actually caring about the welfare of people in general, event those we are at odds with.

no one goes calling us men males in the wrong form constantly like that
and yes girls IRL will notice it if you say it that way around them even if they aren't immediately vocal about it. Its something that might not seem like a big deal to a lot of men but please quit it for your own good lol

Problem right there. Being black and being dark skinned are different. Black isn’t a skin color. Nobody is black, it’s a societal impact on people of color. So to say your blacker than those in this thread is already a hallmark in your logical mode of thinking.

This always confused me.
I don’t use it because “girl” or “woman” sounds better, but that’s just my personal preference.
It doesn’t bother me when others say it, but apparently “female” is seen as derogatory now.

idk if its offensive or not but i never once felt right calling women that, sometimes you have to cause "women vocalist" doesn't sound as good as "female vocalist" only times i use "female" is when "women" doesn't fit a sentence to me
