Do you know why Biden is running for President? Didn't you make the point earlier about schrodinger's candidate where people try to insert intentions for a president before they get into office? We simple speculate that Biden has bad intentions and you speculate he has good ones. You cannot prove one way or another.

The problem with small "improvements" is that they take tons of effort and political capital and never accomplish enough to justify it. Biden will fight tooth and nail for a public option and concede on key aspects. Then when those aspects cause the system to fail, democrats will get blamed and we will have to wait longer for quality universal coverage. How do we know? Like you said, he did it before in a previous administration.
