Like this conversation initially started because someone said you should go out and vote. Which for some reason triggered Synopsis to say "W-w-well 10 Democrats voted on the bill".

If he was smart he would realize that his response when made in that context is an argument against representative democracries because it was a directrefutation to a statement urging people to vote for individuals whose platforms fell in line with certain policy positions.

Like what is the prescriptive course of action in response to that? What is the alternative that Synopsis is prescribing? What alternate form of government should we be making in order to fix the errors of a representative democracy that wouldnt be seen in other forms of democracy? Yeah, I would say a decent amount, if not most voters are stupid. A vast majority of voters probably voted for Biden off of name recognition and endorsements alone as opposed to actual policy proposals.
