T Pain makes bogus claims like that all the time so i don't really buy it. Sure Kanye might have been inspired but the end product was definitely not an example of 2000's autotune at all
it more closely represented what artists of the mid 2010's were going for

i literally said it was inspired...but again inspiration doesn't meant the end products are closely linked. Good creators know how to separate themselves instead of just copying
