It would likely take funding away from public schools as more people start to move their kids out leaving only kids who can’t afford private school to be in an even more underfunded school. This would target black and Hispanic communities the hardest

Because useless community college brings in big cash

  • Look how bad these schools are doing! Let’s give them even less funding

  • Aug 31, 2020

    It's not bad

It's just not good for people who aren't pursuing an actual career that needs a degree

Why is funding determined by the financial status of the child attending the school?

Why is funding determined by the financial status of the child attending the school?

because kids need more needs then other people

if your kid has mental issues or is autistic you need more support which requiring more funding

if you cut this funding and put into charter schools it disadvantages people from lower social economic background and futures the gap since they can't afford to put their kid a charter school

    no

charter school teachers in America get paid less on average then public system around 45 to 50k usd (severally undervalued)

I remember when some charter schools here were charging a fee if a student were to get disciplined and get detention

This may be a dumb question, but why can’t charter schools and normal schools both get adequate funding?

This may be a dumb question, but why can’t charter schools and normal schools both get adequate funding?

Because they get money already from all the families

Top private schools where i live (Australia) per year is around 25k usd. I am sure its the same in America

Why do they need get more money from the gov when public schools get underfunded in lower social economic areas

Education is the best way to break poverty
