Killing yourself instead of striving for happiness, even if it doesn’t seem possible, is a slap in the face to all the people who sacrificed their time, energy, and money on you.
This is a terrible a***ogy but a good point, so follow me.
Imagine you got lucky and got to buy the newest Xbox and it is a super limited edition one that you will never have the chance to buy again. Now imaging you bought a whole bunch of games and accessories for it, too. Now imagine with this Xbox being super limited, it didn’t come with any kind of warranty and for whatever reason you aren’t allowed to return or exchange it for any reason.
Now imagine the Xbox works for awhile and you love it so much and it was absolutely worth the investment, only for the Xbox to randomly stop working with no hope of being fixed and no warranty or exchange that you can do which really sucks especially since it’s an ultra limited edition model.
How would losing that Xbox that you worked so hard for, that you invested so much into, that you made so many memories with make you feel? Now imagine you are that Xbox. @op

Children kill themselves because they are seen as investments rather than people
Those people don't have to go to sleep in your shoes every night. The end of the day you have to go to sleep with yourself and your own thoughts, no one else.
I can guarantee you the son who lost his father due to suicide won‘t sleep at night with the pain he gave him for the rest of his life. suicide removes the pain from you but it also transports it to other people who loved you. Yes, depression is a condition you can hardly change and it feels like hell on earth but suicide is just not the solution. And no you shouldn’t live for other people. You have to try to better yourself. Be selfish in trying to reach peace while being alive

Who gives a f*** how much energy you invested into them?
I think anyone suffering from suicidal thoughts shouldn’t be pressured to stay alive from this perspective. It can make that person feel even more lost within themselves as now they feel forced to have to be here to keep you happy
It is better to speak to someone about themselves and how much they still have to discover about themselves
