not even a stan, but there's a clear bias against not having it in a top 10, let alone picking a non song as the worst song of the year.

Normal people don’t separate the art from the artist bro especially in the internet era

If the majority of people hates who you are as a person all of your art will be viewed through that lens

Same reason they rail Drake albums post IYRTITL

I don’t think the public hates Drake but I think they find him predictable and cheesy even when he’s not so everything he does is viewed through that lens. Perception is 100% reality

It used to be different 15-20 years ago

Gen X and Early Millennial Critics were more objective and Kanye could get away with being hated and having the most acclaimed music

Now soft white washed late Millennial and Gen Z critics are taking over and they all seem to be heavily biased

Tyler going to win hip hop album of the year. It's so obvious

outside of that one year Drake lost to Chance, rap albums nominated for AOTY usually win RAOTY automatically

Tyler is a good choice but not a safe bet. I could still see it going Tyler's way for sure but Kanye is just as strong if not stronger of a contender

i don't get the idea he's some Grammy darling just yet. He only has a few career noms and won once on the year and category he was the clear favorite

I don't really like that last update to the tracklist.

That's just the New York Post so not even a big deal no one is taking that list seriously and not having it in top 10 isn't biased. If Donda was in everyone's top 10 that would be even more suspicious that they favor Ye. This is such a small thing its not even a issue

I've seen it on multiple year end lists and it's received many Grammy noms. The f*** are y'all even talking about "ignoring" man?

Do you mean why it is being ignored among music listeners? It's probably because most people aren't tryna listen to a 2hr long album that is just okay at best when there are many other great releases this year.

They want publications to drop on their knees and praise it as the next MBDTF to validate their listening experience

I haven't listened DONDA in full since the stadium drops but, I see nothing wrong with this post lmao.

It's a good album! Doesn't take multiple spins to acknowledge it

That's your opinion but the majority just doesn't agree. That doesn't matter who likes it other than yourself you put too much emphasis on what these c***publications think
