Hear me out. I didn't think Die lit was all that great, I'm not a follower of Carti's mysteriousness or antics but I thought there was definitely something to the sound. I thought his music was too similar and there wasn't enough officially released.

However, I thought @meh was ok and hearing whole lotta red, It's really impressing me.
I think it proves that Carti is an eccentric boundary pusher, he just needed to grow into his genius and get out of the hip hop bubble.

The second I heard this I understood why people are s***ting on it.... because it's different.
The variety of production,sounds and progression on the songs is well crafted, unique and diverse. It owes more to underground punk,EDM and psychadelia than gangster hiphop.
However this is a filter of sorts. Hopefully it's so abrasive that Carti's image improves
