He literally brought up Drake out of nowhere and alluded to the fact that he could potentially f*** his wife just based on proximity.

He was talking to Taylor Swift about how announcing that he was $20 Million in debt would make him look vulnerable to his contemporaries. One of those contemporaries being Drake, the nigga that lives down the street from him

Drake/his stans and Ye/his stans are all obsessed with each other and it’s funny seeing one side call the other obsessed.

Hes upset that drake took his lane and cant deal with it. Its something that a lot of older artists are dealing with. Stormzy said somewhere that he has to embrace the newer artists instead of hating on them. Its not a good look

This would make sense if he tried. He drops a mid gospel album with 10 tracks and no promo in 2020 yet still sells 300k

TLOP would’ve been a commercial juggernaut. It’s easily his most digestible album since Grad and would’ve been his most successful album commercially since. I’m talking 08 Wayne numbers first week, yet he wasted it on Tidal exclusivity, and it had such an unusual rollout with no traditional promo.

He hasn’t had a traditional album rollout since MBDTF.

Why does he keep forcing this narrative that he’s so jealous that Drake is so much bigger when he does everything in his power hold back his sales

When Drake releases, he uses podcast, Apple Music alley oop, billboards, tv commercials, three or four pop/ dancehall singles with music videos, street singles, mixtapes leading up to the release etc..

Kanye literally does none of that! In fact he does the opposite. He gives everyone in the world a reason to not wanna listen to his albums before releasing (Maga, Trump, Rants etc) which all supports my point. Why does he keep reinforcing this narrative that Drake is so much bigger when he doesn’t even give himself the chance?

Don't paraphrase it nigga, he said that Drake was the most eligible bachelor in the world and was f***ing all of his wife's friends. This was not at all relevant to their conversation.

Nice buzzword but it doesn’t make what I said any less true

Do you know for a fact that Drake randomly brings up Kanye completely unprompted, while not in the studio? This isn't a buzzword,my guy. This is the exact definition.

When has Kanye ever had a conversation where he didn’t add small irrelevant details that stray away from the topic being discussed

    who brought him up?

He was talking about how it would look if he told his competition he was $20 Million in debt, he was literally on the phone with Taylor Swift, someone that people viewed as his competition at the time. Drake is one of them, it would be dishonest for him to act like Drake wasn’t relevant to the topic of his competitors by not mentioning him

This was horrible though. This is like you asking if there's any food in the fridge and me saying that your wife f***s your neighbor every time you work over.

Use critical thinking now, what’s a synonym for competition? Someone you’ve experienced conflict with, right? Has Kanye not experienced conflict with Taylor Swift?

The ironic part about this post is the average person doesn’t know about any of the s*** talked about in OP, so in a weird way OP thinks about Kanye the way he argues Kanye thinks about drake

this is exactly why Kanye sounds so f***ing ridiculous whenever he talks about his sales not being up to par.

He works on a mid album for a couple weeks and puts sole responsibility on his wife to promote it, then he does nothing else

It's entirely his own fault and he shouldn't make Drake out to be the bad guy for actually trying to promote his music (even if it has been mid for the past few years)

Kanye's discography is still eons better than Drake's and if he put the effort in he would easily do numbers

But at the end of the day, numbers aren't as important as quality. I just want Kanye to make a great project again

Bro it’s so weird. If I was a nut I’d say he’s being paid lol

Essentially he’s does Drake’s numbers, whilst being one of the most controversial figures in pop culture, and without none of the promotion or machine backing him.

He’s like the only anomaly to Drake. Kanye can release an album the same day as Drake if he did all that Drake did to promote and they would have similar sales. Drake isn’t that much bigger than him, Drake is an essence Rihanna to Kanye’s Beyoncé.
