It’s one of his best songs but it’s not really single material. It’s too long to be a hit and isn’t very catchy but that’s not a bad thing. After Hours isn’t a fast food song.
I just don't think the song has the sort of fast mass appeal that is evident is a lot of the top 10 songs. Usually you won't see songs with a structure like after hours has. I think its length and structure are what held it back from doing big numbers, even though the quality of the song itself is really good.
