Dont see how wayne is more influential in music

And lmao nby knows these apps + monster collabs, kanye runs a multi billion dollar buisness and all his friends run all the big fashion brands

    What has kanye influenced musically

Wayne has influenced almost everyone in the game

The only thing that hurts Wayne is the Quality to Quantity ratio

Dude put out more mid than classics

But even his mid had bars on bars

    Until he dropped Rebirth.

Kanye is the most creative and talented rapper inside and outside of rap but at the end of the day when it comes to this rap s*** Wayne’s the best to ever do it.

I mean I’d say it’s close. Future dropped 5 classics in 12 months - monster, beast mode, 56 nights, ds2, WATTBA
    not even Wayne did that

influence on music though Wayne wins, also Wayne has been developing apps for years, skate brands, monster collabs,

depends what you mean by creative fields

U are comparing bullshit that never got off the ground to a billi company

  • One of the GOAT runs but his 2010-2014 run was so bad it hurts any chance of me putting him in my top 10. Definitely a top 20 rapper tho

mid 2000s run no one has pumped out mixtapes and studio albums of this quality and this quantity besides Gucci but I would argue that the quality Wayne takes the cake by a mile.

Wayne pretty much created work ethic, the interview has been taken down but a great line from fat Joe about the we takin over feature he goes on to talk about how now rappers would record a couple songs, go to the club party and a week later do a couple more. Wayne lived in the studio doing god knows how many tracks a day and changed the whole mindset of rappers, no one put pressure on the industry like Wayne did, every day was another hook or verse or mixtape that was coming out that Wayne would body and everyone else had to catch up.

I haven't seen another artist be able to take another artists song and have people remember Waynes version and have it be better than the original 80-90 percent of the time. does anyone even remember the original ice cream paint job?

    created the term bling bling

doing a mil in a week the first artist to do so since 50, and had that album leaked 48 hours before release and both the leak and studio album were fire as hell.

Wayne also created a space for experimentation (relax Kanye Stans) that is so prevalent today with so many artists.

Songs like prom queen and phone home seemed out there at the time but now its like half the artists out follow that format and sound just like Wayne, not to mention the face tats and clothing.

there has never been a more prolific rapper to take both the streets and the mainstream at the same time, no one was more balanced (Gucci didn't break mainstream until he got out of the jail for the last time).

finally he is an underrated mogul, drake and Nicki are two of the biggest artists in the world and under ym,

Wayne been coding and supporting the nerd community

I think Kanye definitely influenced a lot of rap in terms incorporating emotional melodies in rap along with Cudi but Wayne influenced literally every rapper from the south which has been a driving force in Hip Hop. Artists that Wayne has influenced are guys like Thug, Future, and Thug while Kanye influenced Drake, Travis, and Uzi. Both are equally as influential is what im saying
