    it's more dance pop, but there's some disco undertones, definitely not traditional though. the last 2-3 songs reminded me of 80s disco though.

    Disco was destroyed by angsty Yakubs like DJ Steve Dahl who actively campaigned against the genre because he thought it was bad and ABSOLUTELY not because the radio station he worked for switched formats from rock to disco Then like @Heatwaves said, it went underground then turned into house music

    Soul morphed into what encompasses modern r&b and neo soul ,etc
