Why am I finding myself getting excited for this

I’ve never seen the musical, I’ve seen The Wizard of Oz like once or twice as a kid, but I’m finding myself actively wanting to watch this now. I’ve been going through deep dives into other Wizard of Oz movies and it’s crazy but cool that this property hasn’t been shelled out like yearly.

It’s like once a decade which is cool I guess and each time is different mainly because WB still has the rights to the 1930s film
