I remember looking at the controller and I’m like
Then I seen Twilight Princess at the mall and I immediately got hyped

I do gotta find my old Wii tho and figure out how to homebrew it

I remember the Wii drought was real tho
My dad called up 5 GameStop’s before he got one that was selling the last one in stock
Probably the first console I bought with my own (gift) money

In as f***. I still play my Wii and PS2 consistently. Modding them right before covid hit was one of the best decisions I’ve made, I got to play so many classics I never got to before

The wii has amazing aesthetics. That early/mid 2000s chrome minimalist look aged really well imo. The console itself looks like a small abstract sculpture when it sat next to the TV. And the music compliments the look.

any of you guys play the Wii Music game? like you could play songs with different instruments etc?

My nostalgia for the Wii is so conflicted.

On one side. Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resorts are classics I have very fond memories of. Replaying RE4 on Wii was a treat. My first experience with NMH was too.

But in the Grand scheme of these things the library was pretty weak for me and it’s only a few Wii games I would still want ported now

copped one for $8 at the thrift the other day, just gotta get an av cable and controllers

And those are just the games I’ve played/I can think of off the top of my head. People saying that this console didn’t have an amazing library are tripping
