Will democratic party split?
Leftism, socdems, and demsocs are growing stronger
will there be 3 major parties soon and an actual left wing party ?
No. Our country is very moderate at it’s core. It will continue to gradually shift to the left. The Democratic Party won’t split, it will just continue to evolve.

evolve? more?
would do no good when the right will rally behind literally anyone with a R next to their name
they can’t afford to when we are up against extreme hatred and ignorance
oh lord 🙄😭
possible but unlikely as long as we have a first past the post "winner take all" voting system. makes it really hard for more than 2 parties to be influential

true but what do u suggest?
In order for the Democratic party to split it would also require the Republican party to grow a backbone and split from Trump.
So no, the Democratic party will not split.
not when everyone continues to vote for them each term like eternal loyal supporters

Yes... Look at the Democratic field. It is diverse with many ideas. They will continue to debate among themselves and with the newer generations coming up will find the right tune to move our country into a more progressive future,

democrat party is just a coalition tbh
of center to left ideas/people
Probably what the right wants tho
"A leftist has more in common with the far right than a moderate dem" propaganda
not related tbh.

It's very related. Do you honestly believe that whatever two or three parties created from the Democratic party splitting will be able to do anything against an intact Republican party that still finds comfort in propping up openly racist, xenophobic, sexist candidates devoid of morals?

Right. So that’s why I don’t see it splitting anytime in the near future.

GOP gonna be in shambles after Tuesday ESPECIALLY if Biden can take Texas and/or Georgia.
the leftist portion of the democratic party is too willing to compromise with the centrist portion so no
None of the Social Democrats in the Democratic party have really pushed against the core of the party

I don't see Biden taking Texas or Georgia. Might be very close, but he's up against two states that are historically known to be very conservative/red. Even with the most trash Republican candidates. In recent years the conservative control has been weakening though so I guess never say never, but I don't think it'll be enough people to break threat that conservative tradition just yet. Also gerrymandering and voter suppression are things too so it'll just be surprising to see Biden win.
