Reasonable Doubt amazing but still a ways behind 36 Chambers, Aquemini, Ready To Die

36 Chambers has aged the worst out of those IMO
Zoomers do not care for that grimy Wu Tang Clan sound. Millennial Redditors are the only thing keeping them in the Top 10 culturally
    Sad but true

He was just a hot late 90s/early 2000s NY rapper who cuffed Beyoncé and made smart business moves. Does he have stans outside of the northeast?

I’m from the south and other than pac hov is my moms favorite rapper

Yeah well Wu-Tang still managed to pack more emotion and drama in one song (Tearz, say) than most people managed on a full album.

Maybe I haven't heard as much of their influential snap crackle pop as I did a decade ago when things like Yonkers and Nosetalgia were coming out but I doubt that raw, simple sound will ever go away fully.

The s*** about Jay-Z that was so special is that his career encompassed so many levels of what it means to be be a legendary rapper. Like he was commercial and had hits and big event albums etc but he was also a lyricist and dropped classic albums at a pretty regular frequency too. His execution with crafting albums as an artist was pretty elite, really set the stage for the execution that Kanye took to the next level. You could really tell he cared a lot about how his albums were put together, just look at the footage from fade to black. Then there is the street aspect that ads another layer to it, he’s easily one of the most authentic and insightful street rappers to ever grace the mic, and he pretty much invented modern coke rap with reasonable doubt. He’s like the equivalent of someone like Benny The Butcher blowing up and being as dominant as Drake. He influenced both of their flows btw along with countless others. It’s really hard to fully articulate just how impactful Hov was and why he’s so revered. Y’all young niggas just would’ve had to be there.
