Ok but Europe’s opinion on rap doesn’t matter lol

And US high school kids (which his fanbase isn’t even limited to but keep pushing that narrative) are a pretty powerful demographic

He can’t appeal to a wider audience and it’s obvious. Jay Z, Wayne, Kanye, Drake, Kendrick are all able to appeal to massive audiences

You telling me NBA young boy can be put in this category? Will never happen

It’s going to come a point where the establishment will have no choice but to acknowledge NBA Youngboy

If Youngboy decides to go to Europe to tour then maybe he'll gain some traction there.

6ix9ine was know in Europe before he blew up over here in the US.

He absolutely can and he already has a massive audience. He doesn’t need f***in Europe to be successful lol

He's getting there. He's been playing on three radio. What else is there to mainstream except for becoming a even bigger act than he already is.

Yeah people itt have a very weird conception of “blowing up” lol. It’s like they think if you’re not dominating billboard charts you’re an underground artist with no appeal lol

I hear YB in my neighborhood constantly and he gets radio play regularly on the hip hop stations here

The fact you don’t see it shows how out of touch you are.

There’s nothing about NBA young boy that makes him a generational artist.

  • Jul 7, 2020

NBA YOUNGBOY IS A B**** ASS NIGGA WHO PUT A HIT ON THE STREET FOR GEE MONEY
GEE MONEY IS NOW DEAD AND YB BRAGS ABOUT KILLING HIM IN HIS SONGS

  • Jul 7, 2020

Billboard is not the only qualifying factor for success in music I need yall to understand this already

He is as mainstream as a rapper can get without compromising

  • Jul 7, 2020

This whole time I considered him already mainstream.

He just doesn’t have crossover appeal and it’s not like he needs it.

The numbers are saying otherwise so it would seem to be that you are the one that is delusional and out of touch.

Having support from a bunch of hs kids from America doesn’t make you a rap superstar

NBA is hardly famous outside of America. Rappers like Pop smoke are bigger than him in Europe. Not only that but he doesn’t have the talent to even be mentioned in that category. He’s nothing more than a fast food rapper who kids have latched on to bc they don’t know what an actual rap superstar looks like

you not wrong. A lot of people do not understand what a rap superstar is. Rap superstars to me is Eminem/Kendrick/Drake/J Cole/Jay-Z. Eminem is the biggest out of all of them. He is the only one on here who can compete with Taylor Swift stadium attendees wise. I don't even want to pull up the numbers. Mind you not even Drake is close to the numbers Eminem does.

you sound unknowledgeable. That is what makes a rap superstar. Every rapper dreams of selling out stadiums/arenas but only maybe 1-2 ever do it.
