Honestly still my favorite Tyler project. He’s improved on a traditional level in terms of production technique, but I like the rough around the edges amateur quality and personally just miss that sort of punk internet rap era where all these cliques were building and making weird stuff and pushing buttons. I remember them being banned from my city and people making such a fuss about them as a bad influence. That stuff just doesn’t happen anymore. The whole “aged poorly” conversation is a dead topic that doesn’t really say anything meaningful about the music. It still works for me in context.
