White feminists have no problems listening to music about niggas shooting and killing each other but as soon as you say something that isn’t approved they have an issue lol

Not the form but the songs now? Probably. Drake rarely uses either and he’s the most listened to. Not a coincidence and probably a sign of what’s to come

I’m going through every drake song I have memorized and 90% say b****

He def used to but now its very rare for him to refer to a girl as a b**** or a hoe, he even changed the Superman homage on Chicago Freestyle to not include the word hoe

    How is Drake a misogynist?

Don’t wanna derail the thread but there’s been a LOT written about this throughout his career
    much.com/she-said-she-said-drakes-lyrics-misogynistic
    theundefeated.com/features/can-drake-stop-trying-to-control-womens-sexuality-more-life/amp
    feminisminindia.com/2018/08/09/drake-kiki-misogyny/?amp

I haven’t read any of these but my guess is they talk about how he speaks paternalistically to women. That’s prob the most common criticism I’ve seen

that’s what I’m saying. All the people itt saying that women ‘don’t care’ gotta figure out a way to explain why so many women loved drake when he was coming up, and still do, because he doesn’t use those words

I don’t think that’s why but I get what you’re trying to say. But devils advocate, when closely examining drake’s lyrics, in regards to some things he’s said about women, idk if he’s any better than any other rapper

this isn’t even about misogyny. Drake is a misogynist he just doesn’t call women b****es. Homophobia is still in rap it’s just f** isn’t as common. You’re more likely to hear sweet or f*** boy or whatever

Drake the biggest simp in the rap game

  • Aug 23, 2020

    Whoop that trick

  • You can see it’s almost election time with the way some people ITT try to be as trumpy as possible

def not better and arguably worse because his s*** is more subtle

  • Aug 23, 2020

Rap is immune to that s***. If a male rock artist said the s*** future says in his songs dude would get canceled immediately.

  • Aug 23, 2020

The same SJW that be tryna cancel everyone and everything like getting f***ed up and listening to rap so they not gonna go after that s***. Also black people are way higher in the oppression pyramid than white people so don't have to play by the same draconian speech rules that white people do nowadays.

On Rick Ross album and he said it casually. Nobody gave a f*** about it either.
