We know streaming services don't offer every mixtape that can be streamed on mixtape sites like DatPiff or livemixtapes

because most songs on mixtapes contain non cleared samples which means artists are not allowed to earn money with them.

This problem has been there for years now and some artists have been trying to upload their mixtapes by clearing all the samples

which unfortunately has been leading to songs being removed from the tape (e.g. Juice on Acid Rap) or beats being swapped out for Walmart instrumentals (e.g. Never Been on Kush & OJ).

I think it's finally time to find a solution to making everyone happy. I think there should be a 'free' section on streaming services where people can upload music without being able to earn money with it.

This could happen by SoundCloud/DatPiff being bought by a bigger streaming service like Apple or Spotify.

    What do y'all think ?

Don't say 'just upload your local files' cause that can be very tedious sometimes.

A solution could give us a chance to experience a new wave of new talented artists that just don't have the power to drop great 'cleared' music on streaming

very much needed. where would frank or tyler or earl be if they didnt have the opportunity to cover other artists songs AND be able to gauge how it feels releasing those same songs.

It gets boring really quick when you feel like every new up and coming artist uses splice

The new hustle for rappers in 2020 will be not to buy stream’s but stream farms.

You are going to even have a rapper start one or two. You can see how addicted people are at gazing at a meaningless number in everything that is media related.

It will be the natural progression.

Getting those tapes in high quality would be lit but the fact they're not on streaming is the only thing keeping DatPiff and the alike alive

it would also make them better than the rest of the streaming competition which would be a good reason to get picked by new users to streaming
