Lately, I've given so much thought to oracles and if I really am to persue an oracular occupation. Oracular professions are very lonely, in the sense that the burden is so heavy to bear, with regards to predictions (especially the unfavorable ones) and how you need to constantly find subterfuges to sublimate the bad feelings/emotions that can come with it all. I've been researching the history of oracles for the past 4 years (and this research was actually propelled by my history with prophetic dreams in the first place) but I still hold so much doubt; I stlll think that my relationship with oracles is and will continue to be for study purposes only and not really a career path, but I guess...perhaps...only Time will tell.

I haven’t logged in here for a while but yes I definitely relate. Over the years I’ve gathered so many spiritual skills and grown so much but I’m still searching for a practical application of my craft as a career. Lately I feel like there’s been an awakening of new practitioners and informative voices in the community, like the Hoodwitch for example. There is definitely a growing interest in the craft among young people and I’ve been so inspired and I love how modern day witches are using social media as a platform... maybe my calling is to be a witch influencer?

I've been told numerous times that tarot reading/fortune telling isn't a real job but honestly i couldn't care less. so called mystic practices systematically oppose the capitalist structure and oraculists have always been marginalized and persecuted, historically. currently i'm working a call center job and I'm just about to quit it it so God knows where i'm headed from now on, lol.
