    OH NO NOT THE MECHANICS

    What?

You know how many jobs that provides and how important it is plus most people cant do the job nor skill themselves?

Its a very needed service & technical job that keeps many employed & fed.

I'm sure by the time non-evs are off the road, some form of right to repair law will make it through at least for vehicles

right to repair is state by state if im not mistaken and some states have already told apple to go f*** themselves and many more are in the process

The really good sought after ones will assimilate, the average ones will scatter.

The bad ones will probably move on to welding or something

What happened to the people who took care of horses when cars came around?

They all collectively died at the same time from broken hearts.

also modding n swapping gas car engines into ev batteries while keeping the shell is already a thing n becoming increasingly popular so the tuner, lowrider, hobby, hotrod, racer, drifer n aftermarket scenes will still be fed thus keeping local shops busy as long as they can adapt to ev skills n tools

60s lowrider chevrolets & 90s sports nissans etc. with electric batteries n systems

This isn't going to catch on unless there's some sort of tax write off for it. Its only to get clicks and likes on social media.

mechanics screw their customers over so much I almost don’t care

everything I take my car to a shop a magic new problem appears out of no where the next day
