I find it overrated too, it was definitely cool but I don’t get why people describe it as like “the perfect story” and s*** like that.

Feels like people just have nostalgia for it and try to make it out to be high art instead of admitting it was a cool teen movie they liked

Nah Superbad is peak white people humor comedy tbh. One of the only comedy flicks from that era that was actually funny. This is The End and Pineapple Express are up there too.

i think it's a great comedy. i think many people overrate it by calling it one of the best comedies ever or one of the best high school movies ever.

to me it's like a top 15 high school comedy.
