I’ve always seen it as more of a big Scorsese movie but you’re right that it’s absolutely hilarious

I found it painfully dull

just an awful take

i mean it’s parody movie so yeah if you not from the US it really shouldn’t be funny

i loved it, although the ending could have been more fleshed out for sure. Everything up to that point though is A1 absurdist comedy

It’s not an outright comedy film hence why i didnt mention it myself but its one of the funniest films in recent memory imo

Still think thats Leo’s best performance as well.. just because his whole look and way of acting just fits his character perfectly. I know he and Scorsese worked together a bunch but that is still one of the best casting choices ever imo

Yeah I think my top 2 Leo performances are WOWS and The Aviator

But WOWS is a masterclass Leo performance right down to the physical comedy acting.

The Seth Rogen and Bill Hader scenes are incredible, the rest is pretty average for 2000s comedies
