??? You can’t control where and how you miscarry ? Where is she to put it ?

Maybe call a f***in ambulance, say you miscarried and not touch anything?

    How aren’t they?

Both got charged with abuse of a corpse

One was an abortion and the other a miscarriage but that’s not what either got in trouble for. They got in trouble with what they did with the fetus.

In the watts case the prosecution is not even calling it a fetus though they are saying it’s a baby , so how can you be charged with mishandling a fetus ?she is being charged with fpl laws which were written by mentally sick fundies that want this outcome in any case where the woman has a problem with fertility

You mean tell the cops so they can prosecute her for breaking fetal protection law ?

How did that work out for her ? She was f***ed either way

?? She’s being prosecuted because she couldn’t flush it down the toilet like all miscarriages are to do . There is no special unit that comes and takes away a fetus at home they will just come with cops and treat it as a infanticide

Easy to say when you have never experienced the traumatic experience of a miscarriage

My wife miscarried our 1st child after 19 weeks so f*** off, we went to the hospital when we sensed something was wrong & didnt leave after 8 hours cause we couldn't f***in wait like she did.
In the event of a medical emergency youre expected to f***in call a medical team, not clean yourself up and go to a hairdresser and try to act like nothing happened.
Like I said, the US system is completely f***ed & she shouldn't be charged with s***, but she had ample chances not to f*** it up and she still f***ed up everything she could.
How f***in wrong of me to expect human beings to act rationally and inteligently in f***ed up situations, damn...

If im not mistaken, she didnt have an abortion, but a miscarriage
You do realize those are 2 different things, right?

From what I remember about this case, she followed medical advice and then proceeded to handle the situation as best as she could. I think she’s being improperly treated, that’s just me

Sorry for the assumption, but let’s give her some Grace too. This isn’t an easy situation for women and you of all people should understand having supported your wife through one.

Everyone grieves differently and in states of shock is hard to make a sound decision without proper support

How would it be infanticide if she had a natural miscarriage
She didn't abort the baby, there is no criminal aspect to a miscarriage

You’re talking to people who have turned progressiveness into a law, they’d be acting like you’re wrong for critiquing her for the way she went about this even if she had punted it across the lot.

She is being charged with a abusing a corpse . Who killed it ? She went to the hospital twice and they knew it was non viabke and kept sending her home. She tried to flush it but because she’s poor with poor plumbing she’s now being made an example by a maga prosecutor

If i read the OP right, she voluntarily left the hospital cause she couldn't wait 7 or 8 hours for them to decide the proper course of action.
I understand her situation, that's why I said I would never charge her with anything, but people playing with their health and being careless in situations that are as dire as this gets me frustrated

Nobody f***ing killed it you re.ta.rd, go f***ing learn what a miscarriage is.
Her body couldn't handle her pregnancy and miscarried the fetus, she didn't take a f***in abortion pill you re.ta.rd
Thats why i said you do realize those are 2 different things
If she just didnt touch the bloody fetus/tissue pulp mess whatever and called an ambulance, she wouldn't have been charged with s***, for f***s sake!!!!
