I would go on and assume that the majority of the events of TSS and Season 1 did happen except for the Justice League cameo.

Him seemingly going through pocket universes and replacing the DCU Peacemaker would be a way to explain it and he would be the only one to remember the JL cameo

That must happen in the beginning though because then it gets confusing with the support characters and what they do and don't remember

Feels like they’re learning the worst mistakes from Marvel. People started checking out when they felt like they had to watch 8 hours of TV to see the next movie.

Just because Green Lantern and Hawkgirl are appearing in this doesn’t mean you have to see Superman. I remember Gunn saying something along the lines of you can jump in at whatever point you want.

Look at it like the DCAU

Do you have to watch Batman: The Animated Series or Superman: The Animated Series to be able to watch the Justice League cartoon? No.

That’s also something that the DCEU for the most part actually did well. You could watch Aquaman and not be lost if you didn’t see Justice League

i really hope they’re using the dcau as a partial blue print for this. i think there’s so much they can learn from the small subtle nods to continuity.

marvel just devolved into pointing at things and saying it’s all connected

depends on the product right? nodding to continuity is chill and manageable. treating series/movies like chapters in a long saga is where it gets out of hand

Really fun show, kinda crazy Innever heard of it til the season 2 trailer came out

Apparently Snyder is directing a DC movie which will be announced soon.
